PAF’s response to enemy aggression will be remembered for generations, warns air chief
Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman, on Wednesday, stated that the Pakistan Air Force [PAF] was fully prepared to defend the country’s frontiers following threats by India, Radio Pakistan reported.
The PAF chief was addressing media at the Qadri airbase in Skardu during a routine fighter planes’ summer drill where he participated by flying the Mirage fighter jet
Speaking after the exercise, he said Pakistan will give a befitting reply to any aggression shown by the enemy. “Our response to any aggression by the enemy will be such that their future generations will also remember it,” he said.
The air chief emphasised that “our forces are thoroughly professional and always remain fully operational and alert.”
Highlighting the role of PAF in anti-terrorism operations, the PAF chief said production of JF-17 with improvements had been increased three times over. He revealed that all PAF fighter jets were capable of air-to-air refueling.
Pakistan Navy is ready to thwart any agression
Meanwhile in Lahore, Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Zakaullah reiterated that the Pakistan Navy was fully prepared to thwart any aggression shown by the enemy.
Addressing the 46th naval course at the Naval War College on Wednesday, the Naval chief said the Pakistan Navy was equipped to defend maritime borders.
Also present at the occasion were twenty foreign naval officers including officers from Bangladesh, China, Egypt, Indonesia, Jordon, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
