Olson, General Nicholson call on Army Chief

RAWALPINDI: Richard Olson, Special Representative in Afghanistan and Pakistan and General John Nicholson, Commander Resolute Support Mission in Afghanistan along with their delegation called on Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif on Thursday. 

According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) wing of the Pakistan Army, during the meeting, regional security issues and matters of mutual interest including border management mechanism along Pak-Afghanistan border were discussed.

The visiting dignitaries appreciated the resolve and continuing efforts towards fighting terrorism and regional stability, the statement concluded.
